This original WE design has been revised and updated to the new Slipstream and Slipstream + models. We have retained this page both as a back reference for owners of the original model but partly also to remind ourselves where we have come from. After the original TR tent the Slipstream was the next product we designed then made - back in 1977.
The original Slipstream was inspired by our own cycle commuting requirements and for many it has been their lifelong daypack. The horizontal main zip and sloping top panel give this bag the best possible water-shedding, weather-resistance. Immediately you start using this pack you will discover its convenience: Push back the unzipped bag canopy and the entire contents can be easily viewed and accessed. Selecting from the contents is a breeze. With more than 20 litres usable capacity this rugged daypack is ideal for just about every trans-urban, work-day journey.
The Ladakh daypack is no longer part of the current WE range. This page is retained as a back reference for Ladakh owners.
Sleek and stable. Developed originally as part of our hybrid adventure travel pack ensemble, this daypack has achieved stand-alone popularity. The long-line design with its padded hip fins, side stabiliser straps and low-slung volume distribution give this pack body-hugging performance. What is unusual (and note-worthy) is to find such a sleek configuration available in long-lasting canvas, with sturdy zips and a solid emphasis on product durability. This pack is a favourite with commuter cyclists.
